My Supermodel!

So, I have a maid+baby sitter, her name is Rasmin. She's worked for my family for, like, ten years maybe? I'm not really sure because I was so young when she started working for the first time. So, she has this addiction with camera. She loves it when I take her pictures, and keeps pushing me to print them out so she can brag them to her family. If you want to know how high she is when I take pictures of her, check these out.

I died laughing when she asked me to take her pictures. But, it's okay for me, because I can improve my photography skill by doing this for her. For your information, I didn't use cameras, or my dad's handycam. I use my notebook webcam! And for the lighting, I turned off the lights, and I used me table lamp and I moved it everytime I wanted to take her pictures from a different angle :)

I hope this might help you guys who don't have any camera or camera with flashlight, I hope this might be a helpful tip :)

The Maine; John Cornelius O'Callaghan V

Hi, I'm going to tell you one of my favorite bands all-time (beside Queen). Yep, The Maine. For you guys who use Blackberry, you'll find one of their songs 'Into Your Arms' music video sample in the Videos section. The lead singer has the most beautiful voice--after Freddie Mercury, of course--I've ever heard. It has a unique characteristic, and you'll love to listen to his voice. And they're hot, too! For all of you guys who don't really know about them, here is some information about them.

Wait, no. I'm not going to tell you about all of them. This post is special for John, the lead singer. I love him a lot (but that doesn't mean I don't love the whole gang, I still love you Garrett, Kennedy, Pat, Jared )

The Maine
(left-right: Kennedy Brock, Jared Monaco, John Cornelius O'Callaghan V, Garrett Daniel Nickelsen, Patrick Kirch)

The band's name is The Maine. The name is inspired a song, which I forget the title. They already a few albums, and already held a few tours around the world (including Indonesia, September 2010). Their fanbase name is Maineiacs.

He's the lead vocal/singer/whatever. He's the sexiest man on Earth, man. His voice is also very good and he writes quotes! FRESH, UNIQUE, TOUCHING, KEWL quotes. I'm going to die when I look at his pictures.

And here are some examples of quotes he makes:

Note : I think I've got Obsessive John O'Callaghan Disorder. I LOVE HIM

Who You Are

After Lady Gaga's, I'd like to show you another favorite song of mine lyric. It's Jessie J's Who You Are. When I feel like being motivated by songs, I always consider to put this song into my playlist. When I'm down, and I lose all hopes of mine, this song reminds me to stay original, be myself, and it's okay to have people who think the opposite around you. I love it.

"Who You Are"

I stare at my reflection in the mirror:
"Why am I doing this to myself?"
Losing my mind on a tiny error,
I nearly left the real me on the shelf.
No, no, no, no, no...

Don't lose who you are in the blur of the stars!

Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing,
It's okay not to be okay.
Sometimes it's hard to follow your heart.
Tears don't mean you're losing, everybody's bruising,
Just be true to who you are!
(
who you are)

Brushing my hair, do I look perfect?

I forgot what to do to fit the mold, yeah!
The more I try the less it's working, yeah
'Cause everything inside me screams

No, no, no, no, no...

Don't lose who you are in the blur of the stars!

Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing,
It's okay not to be okay.
Sometimes it's hard to follow your heart.
But tears don't mean you're losing, everybody's bruising,
There's nothing wrong with who you are!

Yes, no's, egos, fake shows, like WHOA!

Just go, and leave me alone!
Real talk, real life, good love, goodnight,
With a smile, that's my home!
That's my home, no...

No, no, no, no, no...

Don't lose who you are in the blur of the stars!
Seeing is deceiving, dreaming is believing,
It's okay not to be okay...
Sometimes it's hard to follow your heart.
Tears don't mean you're losing, everybody's bruising,
Just be true to who you are!
Yeah yeah yeah
Remember people,

STAY ORIGINAL :)

You and I

So, I want to share a very good song's lyric. It's Lady Gaga's You and I. This song sounds very good. It's a slow rock with a very sad lyric. And with her voice, which is unique, you're never going to be bored to listen to this song for many times. I know that this song is quite old, and not a new-released, but it's till good to listen to. The lyric has a strong meaning, and somehow, it kind of represents me; in a special way. It's sad, but the song doesn't sound weak. You know what I mean? I mean the feeling of sad, without showing that you're weak to people. Lady Gaga sure has a strong personality. Although she's kind of eccentric, I still love her a lot. I think I need to join her fanbase; Little Monsters.

"You And I"

It's been a long time since I came around
Been a long time but I'm back in town
This time I'm not leaving without you
You taste like whiskey when you kiss me, oh
I'd give anything again to be your baby doll
This time I'm not leaving without you

You said sit back down where you belong

In the corner of my bar with your high heels on
Sit back down on the couch where we
Made love the first time and you said to me this

Something, something about this place

Something 'bout lonely nights and my lipstick on your face
Something, something about my cool Nebraska guy
Yeah something about, baby, you and I

It's been two years since I let you go,

I couldn't listen to a joke or rock 'n roll
Muscle cars drove a truck right through my heart
On my birthday you sang me a heart of gold
With a guitar humming and no clothes
This time I'm not leaving without you
Ooh-oh ooh-oh

Sit back down where you belong

In the corner of my bar with your high heels on
Sit back down on the couch where we
Made love the first time and you said to me this

Something, something about this place

Something 'bout lonely nights and my lipstick on your face
Something, something about my cool Nebraska guy
Yeah something about, baby, you and I

You and I

You, you and I
You, you and I
You, you and I, I
You and I
You, you and I
Oh yeah!
I'd rather die
Without you and I

C'mon!

Put your drinks up!

We got a whole lot of money, but we still pay rent

'Cause you can't buy a house in Heaven
There's only three men that I'm a serve my whole life
It's my daddy and Nebraska and Jesus Christ

Something, something about the chase

Six whole years
I'm a New York woman, born to run you down

So have my lipstick all over your face
Something, something about just knowing when it's right
So put your drinks up for Nebraska
For Nebraska, Nebraska, I love you

You and I

You, you and I
Baby, I rather die!
Without you and I

You and I

You, you and I
Nebraska, I rather die
Without you and I

It's been a long time since I came around

Been a long time but I'm back in town
This time I'm not leaving without you.

My Photography Skill

So as you all know, that most magazines I've read predict that 'photography' will be the most favorite hobby in this year. Nowadays you can see a lot of beautiful pictures taken by either professional photographers or people-with-no-experience-of-taking-pictures. People now get photography fever! And I believe I do too!

Now, I would like to share some of the pictures I've taken, hope you like it. Critics and suggestions would really help :)

So, here they are, enjoy.

This is a teddy bear my Dad gave me a few years ago. It was originally an army bear, but I put a jar cover on its head. Ta-daa, it's not an army bear anymore :)

This sweet bear is waiting for someone she loves. Apparently waiting for him to go back from war. You know, somehow, this picture represents me a lot.

"Where are you? When will you come back?" *staring at the plants* "Ouch. My orchids sure need some more water."

This is a mat in front of my house door. This picture wasn't purposely taken. I was just playing around with the camera and, hey, a quite nice shot :)

This is a snowglobe my dad brought me from New York. I haven't been there, actually. But I can feel what New York is like, by looking at this.

NOTE : I don't have any SLR cameras or stuffs like that, I took these pictures by using an old handycam of my dad's (I didn't exactly steal it, but I took this handycam without his permission, sorry Dad)

Thanks, guys. I'll post some other photos in the next post :)
